After many years and tens of thousands of hours of studying the Bible I am amazed at the number of people that think they know what it says and means. Even more alarming is the number of people who have placed their faith in the Bible, and not in God. It's so easy to get carried away in Bible verse and tell people that "God said in His Word" this or that. Did He really say that? Have you seen the original words? If you had, you would not be so quick to say "God said", because in many cases the words on the page of the book and the actual words are not the same. There are also over translations of the Bible. If there was one that said it correctly, why do we have others? If reading the Bible strengthens your faith in God then reading it is good.
